State of Aboriginal Rights in Canada

Within the region of northern Ontario we are signed onto Treaty 9, which recently was scrutinized with the introduction of journals that throw doubt into the actual discussion at the time. It does open up the option to challenge the treaty based on misrepresentation and improvidence. Treaty 9 will see investments into this century that require that they understand the uncertainty of the title question, and create agreements are negotiated fairly and equitably.

200+ court cases in our favor, and a new court "Tsilhqot’in" decision affirming indigenous right to title. It will be a brighter day for our people.
